Further decisions from the Scottish Information Commissioner concerning Scottish Government / Marine Scotland failure to comply with freedom of information law.

Guy Linley-Adams has secured yet more Decision Notices from the Scottish Information Commissioner concerning the ongoing and persistent failures of Marine Scotland, part of the Scottish Government, to comply with the law concerning Freedom of Information. The latest Decision, published on 3rd April 2019, finds again that Marine Scotland has failed to comply with the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004, this time by failing to conduct adequate searches at the time of an information request submitted on behalf of Salmon & Trout Conservation Scotland concerning the reported escape of 300,000 farmed fish from Scadabay salmon farm.
