Paying for Environmental Cases

The UK has finally recognised that access to environmental justice must not be prohibitively expensive and has made some steps to fulfilling that requirement.

By law, your exposure to costs in England and Wales, or expenses in Scotland – that is, how much you might need to pay the other side in any legal case – can now be limited in environmental cases to £5,000 for an individual or £10,000 for a group (such as an action group or local environmental charity).

Whatever the issues, there are a number of ways that your case can be funded.  Contact Guy on guy@linley-adams.co.uk or on 07837 881219 to discuss.
